Marjorie O'Connor prides herself on being committed to fitness and health for all, no matter what fitness level or participant capability. Marjorie is able to develop and implement challenging and innovative programs for the novice to the expert, bringing participants to new heights both physically and mentally. Her greatest reward is to change not only the physical aspect of a person but also the psychological giving them positive feelings of self worth.
Marjorie has had a huge impact on women's groups and specific lecture groups, as she speaks passionately and sincerely about health, body image, motivation and keeping the fitness commitment. It is a human touch and caring nature that Marjorie radiates to people as she inspires them to be the best they can be.
She volunteers her time for the Canadian Breast Cancer Association – Run for the Cure, the Kids with Cancer Association and has participated in various events for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Arthritis Society and the ESO - Edmonton Symphony. She appears frequently on local and national television, has sat on numerous committees and boards, and has been a freelance writer and consultant for numerous journals and publications.
